What treatment modalities do you offer?

We have a large array of treatment options to help maintain a healthy lifestyle and repair any damage done by chronic conditions. We offer modalities such as Massage Therapy, Meridian Energy Testing, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Intravenous Nutrition as well as other IV treatment options for immune health, Infrared Sauna, Ultrasound, and Thermography, to name a few. Some of our treatment modalities do require that you have been seen in our office as a patient and have a written prescription prior to starting therapy.

What is the best way to communicate with our office after I become a patient?

We prefer that patients contact our office by phone, fax, or through their patient portal. Unfortunately, we cannot communicate through your private email account, but you may send virtual messages to your provider or healthcare professional through our patient portal system.

Fax: (949) 680-1881

Do I have to schedule an in-person visit to speak with my provider?

Yes, while we will do our best to help with clarification questions through our patient portal system, for in-depth questions or changes to your personalized protocol, you must schedule either an in-person or phone consultation. Since our protocols are customized to your specific needs, it is best you discuss your questions with the provider.

Where can I buy the supplements my provider recommended?

We offer the recommended supplements in our healthy living store which you can visit in-person OR they can ship supplies directly to your home. Note that, as a patient, you will receive an online code to access patient-only products at our store, PerfectlyHealthy.com. You may also call our Healthy Living Store to place your order by calling: (949)680-1913, or (866)616-7474.

Where can I find my personalized treatment plan?

At the completion of your visit, your provider will create a visit summary which will contain all the recommendations that were discussed during your visit including IV treatments, supplements, and possibly refers to other providers, imaging, or lab testing.

How do I request a refill?

If you have a current medication and have been seen in the office within the last year, please have your pharmacy request a refill through our electronic refill system. If you are on a controlled substance such as Adderall, Norco/Vicodin, Ativan, or Valium, refills must be done with an appointment and in-person.

If you are requesting a NEW medication or you have not been on the medication in over a year, you must be seen by a provider prior to starting the medication. Refills will not be provided to patients who have not been seen in more than 1 year.

When should I have new labs drawn?

For our patients at the Cancer Center for Healing, you should have lab work completed every 2-4 weeks during active treatment and then every three months if in remission. The type and timing of your labs will be determined by your provider. For patients completing chemotherapy, at a minimum, routine labs such as a complete blood count (CBC) and comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) will be ordered weekly.

All labs must have an order by a provider with most regimens being personalized to your specific needs.

I was recommended to complete weekly/daily injections. Can I give myself the injection?

Yes, the provider may order injectable medications or supplements to be given at home either subcutaneously or intramuscularly. We typically will have our staff show you all the steps to perform your specific injection at home as well as written instructions to take home with you.

Are there injections that I CANNOT administer?

Yes, some must be done by a healthcare professional however, most can be done at home. Some of our patients do not feel comfortable injecting themselves and may choose to be seen in our office for injection as ordered by the provider. Please call the front desk to schedule an appointment.

How do I get started with intravenous (IV) therapy? What is required?

All IV therapy must have an order completed by a provider in our office prior to starting treatment. Typically, most patients must establish with our office first and labs must be reviewed (including CBC and CMP) prior to starting any IV therapy. If you already have an order and are followed in our office, you must be seen yearly (at a minimum) with the appropriate labs for your designated therapy. All IV orders must be renewed yearly if the patient plans to continue on treatment. Once all of the above requirements have been met, patients may call our front desk to schedule their IV appointment. Please indicate to the staff which IV service you plan to receive.
