How It Works
The Photodynamic Endolaser is a device for low-power laser irradiation for all biological structures of the body below the skin. This device allows that the laser beam goes directly into deeper areas of the body using a sterile one-way catheter which is inserted in a metal or plastic cannula. The inserted light energy is absorbed by cells in the interstitial tissue and blood circulation system, spreads out to all weakened or sick cells, which can thereby regenerate their functions and their metabolism.
The light energy absorbed into the patient’s tissue and blood trigger biological changes at a cellular level to provide small topical warming for the temporary increase in local blood circulation; temporary relief of minor muscle and joint aches, pains, and stiffness; relaxation of muscles and relief of muscle spasms; and temporary relief of minor pain associated with arthritis. The laser light beam can penetrate further in the tissue for direct treatment of pain of particular areas of the body and damaged tissues of nerves, muscles, cartilages, and bones.
On the cellular level, the laser light is absorbed by the mitochondria, which leads to increased production of ATP and stabilization of cell membrane, and improved cellular metabolism. The dose and frequency of treatment can be adjusted to produce the desired effect.
There are three ways that the laser can be used:
- Interstitial- the needles are implanted directly into or closely around a malignant tumor
- Intravascular- the butterfly needle is inserted into the vein and the laser catheter is inserted into the catheter of the needle, which guides the light directly into the flowing blood
- Intrarticular- the needles and laser are inserted into or close to the joint, or into the depths of tissue around the joint
Low-Level Laser Light has unique physical properties that ordinary light doesn’t have. This is why laser light is so effective in healing many ailments, diseases, and disorders. There are specific cellular structures, called photoreceptors, that are able to absorb specific wavelengths (colors) of light. The specified light stimulus gives a cellular signal affecting the chemical behavior, metabolism, movement, and gene expression.
Each of the wavelengths of light is designed to generate particular effects on the body. The red light is very effective in stimulation of the immune system and improve blood viscosity.
The green light binds to hemoglobin and improves the function, behavior, and cell elasticity of red blood cells. It also is very successful in increasing oxygen delivery within the body, while decreasing lactic acid.
The blue light releases nitric oxide (NO) within the body. Nitric oxide is known to be a growth, immune, and neuromodulator. It also stimulates stem cell production. The blue light is also very effective in acting as an anti-inflammatory and helps to treat infections because of its bactericidal effects, and also has many anti-aging benefits
The yellow light improves serotonin and vitamin D production, aids in detoxification and has very positive effects on the body’s hormones. Yellow light is also proven to have very strong anti-depressive effects and an overall positive influence on the general mood.
Ultraviolet blood irradiation has been shown to strengthen the immune system and improve the overall health of the patient. Ultraviolet blood irradiation has been shown to have many beneficial effects on the body, including:

What are the benefits of Photodynamic Endolaser Therapy?
Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is a non-surgical, non-scarring skin cancer treatment that uses light sources combined with a light-sensitive drug to destroy cancer cells. It’s superior to freezing, chemo, and surgery. Photodynamic Therapy treats cancer by cells that have absorbed photosensitizers are exposed to a specific wavelength of light, the photosensitizers produce a form of oxygen, called an oxygen radical that kills them.
Photodynamic therapy may also damage blood vessels in the tumor, which prevents it from receiving the blood it needs to keep growing. And, it may trigger the immune system to attack tumor cells, even in other areas of the body.
Most often, you can have photodynamic therapy as an outpatient, which means you go home after treatment and do not spend the night in the hospital. You may have photodynamic therapy by itself, or you may have it along with other cancer treatments. This procedure is effective in treating Basal Cell Cancer, Squamous Cell, and Actinic Keratosis (sun damage).
