Dr. Barry Lomax, N.D.

#1 Alternative Cancer Treatment Center in North America

Dr. Barry Lomax, N.D.

Growing up an athlete sparked Dr. Lomax’s keen interest in health, fitness, performance optimization, and faster injury recovery. After a battle with chronic fatigue in his youth left his physicians baffled and without answers, Dr. Lomax set out on a journey to explore alternative paths to health and wellness.
Dr. Lomax received his Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Texas. After becoming a Registered Nurse, he began studying nutrition and modalities for healing outside conventional medicine’s limited scope. He quickly realized that diet and lifestyle changes could profoundly affect how well and fast we heal. Furthermore, he embraced the head-to-toe focus and mind-body-spirit connection that are the cornerstones of functional and integrative medicine.
Armed with this valuable knowledge, Dr. Lomax turned his passion into furthering his education. He earned his degree in naturopathic medicine from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon, and began helping friends and family with their health issues.
He shares:
I’ve had the privilege of learning under some of the best naturopathic and integrative medical doctors. Their ability to connect with their patients and get results has inspired me to do the same. I have a strong interest in helping patients look and feel their best and in optimizing their lives on all levels.
Dr. Lomax is deeply committed to going the extra mile to help patients of all ages resolve their chronic health issues and discover what it feels like to be genuinely healthy. He relishes the challenge of taking on complex cases and is dedicated to using a multi-pronged, integrative approach to healing. It brings him great joy to teach patients nourishing habits and share lasting wellness practices to improve their health and quality of life.
When he is not with patients, Dr. Lomax enjoys hiking, surfing, tennis, martial arts, playing the piano, live music, sporting events, film festivals, stand-up comedy, and traveling. He is also an active member of the US Army National Guard.
