Brandi Morinoue, PA-C, brings a deep-rooted passion for functional and integrative medicine to her role at the Center for New Medicine and Cancer Center for Healing. “My mom was always into natural remedies when I was growing up, and this piqued my interest in integrative medicine,” Brandi explains. “As I explored a more holistic approach to healing, I quickly realized there were many options beyond side-effect-laden medications and invasive surgeries. I knew early on that I wanted to help people prevent disease, not just treat it.”
Brandi earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. She completed post-baccalaureate science coursework at Saddleback College and Mt. San Antonio College before earning her master’s degree through the Physician Assistant program at the Emory University School of Medicine.
She began practicing integrative medicine in 2001 and has remained dedicated to the field ever since. Her clinical specialties include preventive medicine, bioidentical hormone therapy for both men and women, chronic fatigue syndrome, and the treatment of additional complex chronic conditions. Around the same time, Brandi expanded her expertise to include anti-aging and cosmetic medicine. Ongoing, advanced training in these aesthetic disciplines has made her a trusted resource for patients seeking to look and feel their best, inside and out.
Brandi is known for her thoroughness, attention to detail, and commitment to uncovering the root causes of health concerns. “I focus on the whole person and their complete health history, from childhood to the present,” she shares. “By examining all the pieces of the puzzle, past exposures, mental and emotional health, and current symptoms, I’m able to create a truly comprehensive and individualized care plan.”
For nearly 20 years, Brandi has been an integral part of both the Cancer Center for Healing and the Center for New Medicine, which, combined, make up North America’s largest and most comprehensive integrative medical clinic. Working closely with Leigh Erin Connealy, MD, and the centers’ multidisciplinary team, Brandi continues to expand her expertise while maintaining an exceptional standard of patient care.
Outside the clinic, Brandi enjoys running outdoors in the California sunshine and line dancing with friends. She firmly believes that physical activity, especially when paired with fresh air, sunshine, and meaningful connection, is essential to long-term health and well-being.
