Cancer Center For Healing works with an outside biller called Medical Bill Gurus, who can assist our patients with PPO plans after the initial consultation to try and obtain additional coverage.

Who is Medical Bill Gurus?

Medical Bill Gurus is a third-party medical billing company and patient advocacy service that specializes in helping patients secure insurance reimbursements for treatments received by non-participating medical providers that offer treatments requiring specialized billing and claim submission processes.

How Does The Insurance Reimbursement Process Work?

Patients will be required to pay the center upfront for all medical services. Once treatment is complete, Medical Bill Gurus helps identify the billable aspects of service and handles all billing and coding, claim submission, and follow-up to navigate claims from filling to reimbursement.

After each treatment, the clinic will provide patients with an itemized statement of services that can be submitted to Medical Bill Gurus.

Note you will still need to pay the center upfront for services.

To qualify for insurance reimbursements, patients must have a private PPO insurance policy with qualifying out-of-network coverage provided through an employer, health sharing, or other group entity-administered insurance plan.

Unfortunately, patients with Medicare, Medicaid, or HMO insurance plans would not qualify for insurance reimbursements.
