What is Dichloroacetate Sodium (DCA)?

Dichloroacetate sodium was discovered in 2007. It works by turning on the natural cell suicide system called apoptosis. DCA does not poison the cells like chemotherapies. It also interferes with the cancer cell’s use of glucose thus, starving the cancer cell of energy. Latest research show that DCA kills many types of cancer cells. Several publications include human studies and case reports in several cancer types namely, colon, breast, prostate, ovarian, glioblastoma, lung, uterus, lymphoma and cancer of unknown primary.
